Robert Mugabe's 91st birthday celebration to cost $1million

 

Zimbabwean president, Robert Mugabe aka Uncle Bob will be turning 91 years old February 21^st, the ruling party Zanu PF set aside a budget of $1million American $$$$$$$$  not Zim dollars, for the birthday bash.

This is a country that clearly has its priorities messed up, the birthday celebration will be hosted at the luxurious Victoria Falls resort town. The party released a press statement saying  

"We have sourced more than half of what we want and more companies and individuals are promising to contribute in the near future. We are looking at a sizeable figure which is befitting the magnitude of the person whose birthday we are celebrating. To us as Zanu PF youths, this is a moment to celebrate his achievements and greatness and celebrate what he has done for Africa and the world as a whole.”

One of his greatest “achievements” is staying in power since 1980 after Zimbabwe’s independence I guess. I'm sure a chunk of the budget will be allocated to acquiring body guards since the 27 have been suspended  to prevent this from happening again lol
